Er'y day I'm Tumblin'

So I started that Tumblr devoted to my work.
And by devoted I mean when I doodle or something I will post it there.

I am always on Tumblr, so maybe I'll actually make an effort to keep up with the blogging thing.

Okay, so...

As much as I always promise to blog here, I know, I don't.

Truth be told, Tumblr is kinda my favourite blogging site, though I don't have just an illustration Tumblr, maybe I should start one.

I'll update a link, should I decide to move to there.

Book Binding

Sorry for the long lapse between post, a lot of life things getting in the way.

Anyway, my girlfriend is teaching me how to bind books this week, and this is what we did last night:

We're doing a hard cover one tonight, so possibly another post then.

Got the preliminary colour blocked in...
I'm thinkin' this chick is definitely some kind of primordial elven warrior priestess. I think I might give her vallasin...

Now I think I should go to bed and possibly actually do the last of my school work in the morning...

All that I did here was really quickly block in basic light and dark colours in using Photoshop.

Next step

I started colour already, but here is the inked version.

I smoothed out the lines a bit after using the bamboo pen tool.
